The Kenwood eXcelon DNX9140 is a new additiom to Kenwood’s In-Dash DVD Receiver series with built-in Garmin GPS navigation. This navigation receiver gives you turn-by-turn directions from its internal Garmin navigation system, plus built-in Bluetooth® for safer hands-free calling. The DNX9140’s VGA screen boasts a level of detail and brightness that’s steps ahead of lesser models. The DNX9140 includes 5.1 channel decoding and a full set of 5.1 preamp outputs, a feature you’ll rarely find on other DVD receivers. The sky’s the limit — you can build a full surround-sound system to enhance your mobile video experience. The DNX9140 sports two USB inputs and two audio/video inputs, so you won’t be at a loss when you want to connect game consoles or thumb drives. Load your MP3, WMA, and AAC files on a CD or DVD, and you’ll have a nearly endless supply of fresh driving music. If you add an optional cable, you can connect your iPod® or iPhone™ and control it right on the touchscreen. You’ll find a rear-view camera input, and an A/V output is on hand so you can add external monitors for the rear seats. Kenwood’s advanced voice command feature lets you control most receiver functions just by talking to it, so you can keep your eyes on the road. Get directions, find a song on your iPod, switch sources, and much more without taking your hands off the wheel. An included external microphone ensures your commands are heard loud and clear. Last but not least, the DNX9140 offers variable key illumination. This feature allows the user to match the look of the backlit buttons along the bottom of the screen to their interior lighting. The DNX9140 carries a two-year limited warranty and is only available from authorized Kenwood eXcelon retailers.
