With the RightWay 430 GPS, you can be rest assured that you are always guided in the right way that leads to your destination. This pocket sized GPS device features a 4.3-inch 480×272 LCD display full color touch screen, giving you almost 75% more viewing area than standard GPS models. That means no matter what view you are using – 2D Next Turn, 2D Destination, 3D, Where am I?, or Driver Safety – you can see more of the map. Another interesting point is the fact that the wider screen makes the buttons and keypads larger, reducing the chance of entering information incorrectly. It comes with predictive text and not only does the RW 430 announce the name of the street to turn on, the RightLane AssistantTM will show you which lane to be in so you won’t miss the turn. RightSpeed Assistant monitors local speed limits and alerts you to user-programmable speed monitoring. With over 1.7 million points of interest (POIs) stored in its memory, Navteq maps for Canada and the United States , including Alaska , Hawaii and Puerto Rico, clear driving graphics and instructions, and a straight forward user interface, the RW 430 GPS Navigator is a system that anyone could use right out of the box. In terms of battery life, the RW 430 can last 3 hours on working mode, or 180 hours in sleeping mode. In the inside you can find a Samsung ARM9 processor at 400 MHz, 64MB of memory RAM, 2GB of NAND flash, and Windows CE .Net 5.0 as the operative system. Powered by a SiRF Star III chip set, the Samsung Processor, and Co-Pilot software, the RightWay 400 is a fantastic navigation device. The intuitive user interface and predictive text makes address entry simple, even for someone with no GPS navigation device experience.

One of such GPS units that come with great features is the LG LN735, it is an automotive GPS receiver, suited for location monitoring and trip-tracking. The LN735 comes with a standard 3.5 inch touch screen display. Like most other 3.5 inch models from other manufacturers, it runs at a resolution of 320×240 pixels. The LG LN735 is a winner when it comes to its size since it measures just 0.8 thick. Users will also like the simple graphical user interface and the fact that it comes with Sirf Star III for rapid and accurate map positioning. The navigation device is equipped with millions of POIs and pre-loaded maps of the United States and Canada. Turn-by-turn text-to-speech voice guidance is also a option and so is viewing 2D or 3D map formats in either day or night modes make safe. With the claim that the Garmin Talking StreetPilot III GPS Deluxe is the ultimate traveling companion and guide, let us hope that the ends actually justify the means. One of the probable reasons Garmin believe it is the ultimate traveling companion could lie in the fact that the device gives you a complete sense of direction with its embedded features. There is a talking guidance that allows you to create a route and then put your mind on cruise as you follow clear, accurate, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions to safely reach your destination. The Guidance tab is nice and easy. It gives you the option to change how Off-Route Recalculation works, this can be set to Prompted, Automatic and Off. The Next Turn Pop-up can be toggled between Off, SPEAK Key Only, Automatic Only and Both. It comes with intuitive menus that makes routing short and equally fast. The StreetPilot III comes with MapSource City Navigator and once the maps are loaded you’re ready to go, select your destination and it will take you there. In your car the SP3 sits either on a bulky bean bag mount, or a sticky mount you can stick to your dashboard. When it’s being used it either takes 8 (I think) AA batteries, or you can plug it into your cigarette lighter with the supplied adaptor. You’ll only be able to hear the voice prompts if you have the cigarette lighter adaptor plugged in though, because it has the speaker on it. The display is a fair size, and is big enough to get the point across, although it isn’t touch screen like almost all of the newer units are, large buttons are used to control the unit and plan your routes. You can still save routes and waypoints and a full points of interest database is included, so you can find the nearest shopping centres etc.
