The entourage consisted of a fully outfitted tractor hauler/workshop/classroom with eight Ariel Atom supercars on board, and two additional trailers with everything from tables and chairs to tires and spare parts, along with a talented support team. They set up shop for about a week, and do so at five additional locations across North America every summer

I just found out that a friend of mine who has helped me out with parts for my ‘06 YZ450F is involved with a local motocross / desertcross track called Grinding Stone Sports Park . I haven’t been there yet, but oddly enough I was planning on going there this month to break my MX cherry. I was told (before knowing his affiliation with the track) that this is an excellent all around track for all talent levels. Here is the schedule with one race already in the books: Round 1 – January 24-25 Round 2 – April 4-5 Round 3 – May 23-24 Round 4 – October 10-11 Round 5 – November 7-8 Round 6 – December 19-20 The official schedule on their website is here . My buddy’s info for more information is: Kyle Krause – Sales and Promotions kyle@grindingstonemx.com 623-363-9665 Kyle made his name in the WORCS Series and was oretty dominant in his class. He and his family are die-hards in the two-wheeled off-road racing world. He also owns http://motomutts.com for some cool two-wheeled swag. I’ll do a more in depth write-up of the track after I get there.
